Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader of Odisha’s Kalahandi district Rabindra Kumar Pattjoshi along with his supporters joined the BJD on Saturday.
Pattjoshi, who was also the BJP candidate for Dharamgarh Assembly seat in the district in 2014 elections, and hundreds of his supporters joined BJD in the party headquarters Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. They were welcomed to the party by BJD’s Rajya Sabha member Sasmit Patra and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Pattjoshi said he joined the BJD due to people-oriented policies, welfare schemes, transparent administration and clean image of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Thanking the chief minister for taking them into the BJD, Pattjoshi said he and his followers would sincerely carry out any responsibility assigned to them by the party.
