Bhubaneswar: The venue for the state-level Republic Day parade will remain unchanged with the celebrations taking place on Mahatma Gandhi Marg in the city on January 26, 2020.
This was decided at a high-level meeting here on Friday, officials said. The meeting was attended by Home Principal Secretary Sanjeev Chopra, Special Secretary Santosh Bala, Twin City Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi, IGP (Personnel) Soumendra Priyadarshi and other senior officials.
Notably, the state government had shifted the Independence Day celebration from Mahatma Gandhi Marg to Exhibition Ground this year.
