Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha surged to 3,29,621 on Thursday with an overnight addition of 315 cases.
Of the new cases reported from 27 districts, 181 are quarantine and 134 local contacts.
Cuttack topped the districts chart with 41 new cases, followed by Balangir (40), Nuapada (26), Sambalpur (26), Khurda (24), Angul (20), Mayurbhanj (17), Sundargarh (17), Balasore (15), Jajpur (15), Bargarh (14), Kendrapara (10), Keonjhar (7), Jharsuguda (7), Jagatsinghpur (5), Nayagarh (4), Ganjam (3), Koraput (3), Nabarangpur (3), Malkangiri (2), Deogarh (2), Kalahandi (2), Sonepur (2), Bhadrak (1), Dhenkanal (1), Puri (1), and Rayagada (1).
The state pool has six cases.
At present, Odisha has 2,592 active cases and 3,25, 103 patients have recovered.
