Bhubaneswar: The first phase of COVID-19 vaccination, which began in Odisha at 11.05 am on Saturday, ended with coverage of overall 85% of target population.
Of the targeted 16,405 health workers, 13,980 were vaccinated till 8 pm, according to the latest release by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Among the districts, Angul, Balasore, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kendrapada, Sonepur and Koraput registered 100% vaccination.
Similarly, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Ganjam and Jharsuguda districts recorded more than 90% vaccination while Keonjhar had the lowest 54% followed by Nayagarh with the second lowest 66%.
