Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a slight increase in COVID positive cases in the last 24 hours compared to previous day. As many as 141 new cases were registered against the previous 155.
The state had seen 183 cases on Wednesday, 146 on Tuesday, 186 on Monday and 193 on Sunday.
According to the I & PR department, 84 of the new infections are from quarantine and 57 local contacts. Among them, 19 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 58 new cases followed by Cuttack with 12. Eleven districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 57,967 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.24%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,53,645, Odisha now has 1,751 active cases.
