Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 1864 fresh cases of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours on Friday.
Khurda reported the highest number of cases with 496 infections, followed by Cuttack (221) and Balasore (114).
Among the new positive cases, 1,082 were from quarantine centres and 782 were the local contacts, according to the State Information & Public Relation Department.
