Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload crossed 200 for the second consecutive day in Odisha with 237 more people testing positive in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 228 new cases on Tuesday, 197 cases on Monday, 191 on Sunday, 264 on Saturday, and 219 on Friday.
Among the new cases, 39 are in the 0-18 age group.
According to the I & PR department, 139 are from quarantine and 98 local contacts. Khurda has reported the highest 113 cases, followed by Cuttack (19) and Sundargarh (16). Twelve districts saw nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 61,851 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.38 per cent. The TPR was 0.45 per cent on Tuesday, 0.37 per cent on Monday, 0.33 per cent on Sunday, 0.47 per cent on Saturday, and 0.37 per cent on Friday.
While the affected tally has touched 1049345, Odisha now has 2,370 active cases.
