Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a slight rise in daily COVID caseload with 264 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 219 new cases on Friday, 335 cases on Thursday and 288 cases on Wednesday.
Among them, 41 are in the age group of 0-18 years, which is 16 per cent of the total cases against 15 per cent on Friday.
According to the I & PR department, 154 of the new infections are from quarantine and 110 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest of 127 cases, followed by Mayurbhanj (26) and Sundargarh (16). Ten districts reported nil cases.

Besides, 28 are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 56,034 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.47 per cent. The TPR was 0.37 per cent on Friday and 0.53 per cent on Thursday.
While the affected tally has touched 10,48,492, Odisha now has 2,424 active cases.
