Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported over 400 new COVID-19 cases for the third consecutive day on Sunday with 471 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 461 cases on Friday and 452 on Saturday.
According to the I&PR Department, these fresh cases have been reported from 27 districts. Among them, 278 are in quarantine and 193 are local contact cases.
Sundargarh has reported the highest of 85 cases followed by Kalahandi (50), Nuapada (42) and Khurda (40).

The total positive cases in Odisha stand at 3,42,695 and the number of recoveries is 3,37,635.
The state now has 3,085 active cases.
