Odisha Reports 44 More COVID Deaths; 4 From Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: There has been no let-up in COVID-19 deaths in Odisha, which has been reporting over 40 fatalities for the past few days. The last 24 hours saw 44 more patients succumbing to the virus.

According to the Health Department, these deaths have been reported from 17 districts.

Khurda saw the highest of five fatalities followed by four each from Jharsuguda, Angul, Cuttack and Bargarh, three each from Kalahandi, Puri, Rayagada, and Sundargarh, two each from Balangir, Boudh, and Mayurbhanj, and one each from Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapada, and Sambalpur.

With this, the toll has mounted to 3167.

The deceased have been identified as:

1. A 70 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Asthma.

2. A 24 years old male of Angul district.

3. A 51 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

4. A 31 years old male of Angul district.

5. A 60 years old female of Bargarh district.

6. A 50 years old male of Bargarh district.

7. A 70 years old male of Bargrah district.

8. A 55 years old male of Bargarh district.

9. A 42 years old male of Boudh district.

10. A 40 years old male of Balangir district.

11. A 52 years old male of Balangir district.

12. A 68 years old female of Balangir district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

13. A 61 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

14. A 40 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Asthma & Hypothyroidism.

15. A 64 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

16. A 49 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

17. A 45 years old male of Cuttack district.

18. A 52 years old male of Cuttack district.

19. A 52 years old female of Cuttack district.

20. A 31 years old male of Cuttack district.

21. A 32 years old female of Deogarh district.

22. A 45 years old male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

23. A 33 years old male of Jajpur district.

24. A 34 years old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

25. A 38 years old male of Jharsuguda district.

26. A 36 years old male of Jharsuguda district.

27. A 60 years old female of Jharsuguda district.

28. A 59 years old male of Khurdha district.

29. A 54 years old male of Kalahandi district.

30. A 39 years old male of Kalahandi district.

31. A 36 years old female of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

32. A 45 years old male of Kendrapada district.

33. A 83 years old male of Mayurbhanj district.

34. A 70 years old male of Mayurbhanj district.

35. A 30 years old male of Puri district.

36. A 42 years old male of Puri district.

37. A 55 years old female of Puri district.

38. A 39 years old male of Rayagada district.

40. A 52 years old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

41. A 75 years old male of Sambalpur district.

42. A 34 years old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
