Bhubaneswar: Amid the detection of BM.4.1.1, a sub-lineage of Omicron, Odisha on Thursday recorded a slight decrease in daily COVID cases with 59 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, against 73 cases on Wednesday, and 59 cases o
n Tuesday.
According to the I & PR Department, 35 cases are from quarantine and 24 cases are from local contacts. Among them, 10 are in the 0-18 age group. The active cases have dropped below 500 and stood at 481.
