Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha went up to 5,241 on Wednesday with 69 more patients succumbing to the infection.
However, the Health and Family Welfare Department has said hat the toll list does not reflect the actual fatalities on a particular day. It gives details of past fatalities for which the audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as COVID-19.
The fresh deaths were reported from 14 districts. Among them, Khurda reported the highest of 22 deaths, including 17 from Bhubaneswar. It was followed by 10 deaths in Sundargarh, 7 in Bargarh, 6 in Angul, 5 in Keonjhar, 4 in Kendrapada, 3 in Balasore, 2 each in Bhadrak, Boudh, Ganjam, Nayagarh and Puri and 1 each in Koraput and Sonepur.

1.A 68 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Urinary Tract Infection.
2. A 48 years old female of Angul District who was also suffering from Asthma.
3.A 55 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
4.A 76 years old male of Angul District.
5.A 42 years old male of Angul District.
6.A 45 years old male of Angul District.
7.A 60 years old male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
8.A 30 years old male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
9.A 72 years old male of Balasore District.
10.A 58 years old male of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
11.A 65 years old male of Bargarh District.
12.A 54 years old male of Bargarh District.
