Odisha Reports 868 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally Soars To 311788

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases went up to 311788 in Odisha on Thursday with 868 more patients reported overnight.

Among the new cases, 499 are from quarantine centres and 369 local contacts.

Among the districts, Khurda has the highest 126 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (87), Cuttack (64), Angul (54), Nuapada (46), Mayurbhanj (46), Jagatsinghpur (44), Keonjhar (39), Kendrapada (35), Balangir (34), Jajpur (31), Puri (28), Bargarh (21), Jharsuguda (21), Kalahandi (20), Balasore (18), Dhenkanal (18), Sambalpur (18), Nabarangpur (14), Bhadrak (13), Koraput (12), Malkangiri (12), Ganjam (11), Deogarh (7), Rayagada (7), Kandhamal (6), Sonepur (6), Gajapati (3), Nayagarh (3) and Boudh (1).

Besides, the state pool has 23 cases.

With 301777 recoveries from the disease, Odisha has 8366 active cases at present.
