Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw the highest-ever single-day COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday with 37 more patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Department sources, the highest of five fatalities have been reported from Angul, followed by four each from Cuttack and Kalahandi, three each from Khurda, Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur and Sundargarh, two each from Kendrapada, Rayagada, Nuapada and Sonepur and one each from Balangir, Gajapati, Ganjam and Koraput.
The deceased have been identified as:
1. A 38 years old male of Angul district.
2. A 68 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Carcinoma.
3. A 50 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Asthma.
4. A 76 years old male of Angul district.
5. A 70 years old female of Angul district.
6. A 30 years old male of Balangir district.
7. A 75 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Sepsis.
8. A 54 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
9. A 62 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
10. An 82 years old male of Cuttack district.
11. A 59 years old male of Cuttack district.
12. A 65 years old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
13. An 85 years old male of Cuttack district.
14. A 59 years old male of Gajapati district.
15. A 50 years old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
16. A 36 years old male of Jharsuguda district.
17. A 47 years old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Oral Cancer.
18. A 47 years old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Oral Cancer.
19. A 55 years old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
20. A 64 years old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
21. A 70 years old female of Kalahandi district.
22. A 37 years old male of Kalahandi district.
23. A 55 years old male of Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
24. A 62 years old male of Kendrapada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
25. A 50 years old female of Kendrapada district.
26.A 52 years old male of Nabarangpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
27. A 60 years old male of Nabarangpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
28. A 45 years old male of Nabarangpur district.
29. A 74 years old male of Nuapada district.
30. A 45 years old female of Nuapada district.
31. A 67 years old female of Rayagada district.
32. A 60 years old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
33. A 19 years old female of Sonepur district.
34. A 45 years old female of Sonepur district.
35. A 58 years old male of Sundargarh district.
36. A 54 years old male of Sundargarh district.
