Bhubaneswar: In the highest single-day spike so far, Odisha reported 225 new corona positive cases, taking the affected tally to 3723 on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 196 are reported from quarantine centres and 29 are local contacts.
According to Health Department sources, Cuttack reported the highest of 92 new cases, followed by Ganjam (20), Khurda (19), Kandhamal (15), Puri (15), Jagatsinghpur (13), Balangir (12), Mayurbhanj (9), Nayagarh (7), Dhenkanal (7), Bhadrak (5), Kendrapara (4), Kalahandi (3), Balasore (2), Angul (1) and Sundargarh (1).
With 10 deaths and 2,474 recoveries so far, Odisha at present has 1,236 active cases.
