Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha witnessed a slight increase on Tuesday with 232 infections registered in the last 24 hours against 221 cases on Monday. The activ
e tally in the state continued to remain below the 2,000 mark at 1,982.
According to the I & PR department, 136 new cases are from quarantine and 96 local contacts. Among them, 38 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

With these cases being detected from 15,278 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stands at 1.51 per cent.
