Odisha: Roopa Roshan Sahoo Retained As SC, ST Secy Full-Time

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday appointed senior IAS officer Roopa Roshan Sahoo as Commissioner-cum-Secretary of ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department full-time.

A notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department in this regard.

A 2006-batch IAS officer, Sahoo was earlier working as Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-secretary, ST & SC development department, M & BCW department.

“Roopa Roshan Sahoo, Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-secretary, ST & SC development department, M & BCW department is appointed as Commissioner-cum-secretary to Government, ST &SC Development M & BCW department,” the notification said.
