Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government appointed senior OAS officer Sabyasachi Hota as Chief General Manager of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA).
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued a notification in this regard.
Sabyasachi Hota was Allotment Officer, Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA). He has been transferred and posted as Chief General Manger, OSDMA, Bhubaneswar on foreign service terms and conditions, the notification mentioned.
Hota, a native of Sambalpur district, has experience in managing natural disasters like Phailin, Hud Hud and Titli when he was posted in Ganjam district.
He was also one of the key persons in COVID Monitoring and Management Cell of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
