Barbil: An employee of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) was arrested from Kiriburu hilltop in Odisha’s Keonjhar district following a raid on his quarters by forest officials.
Planks of teak and sal wood and cutting machine were seized from the possession of Gautam Barik, who works in the Mechanical Department of the company.
The cost of the timber has been estimated at over Rs 25,000.
