Bhubaneswar: Superintendent of MKCG Medical College & Hospital (MKCGMCH), Berhampur, Santosh Kumar Mishra has been appointed as Dean and Principal of the institute, a notification issued by Health & Family Welfare Department said.
Abani Kanta Mishra, the incumbent Dean and Principal, is due to retire on March 31.
“Prof (Dr) Santosh Kumar Mishra, Superintendent, MKCG Medical College & Hospital has been allowed to remain as Dean & Principal MKCG Medical College, Berhampur with effect from 31st March afternoon on superannuation of Prof (Dr) Abani Kanta Mishra, Dean & Principal, MKCG Medical College, Berhampur until further orders.”
Suchitra Das, Professor of Ophthalmology at MKCG, will replace Mishra as the Superintendent from March 31 afternoon until further orders, it added.
