Odisha Schoolteacher Cries Harassment, Moves Police Against 3 Colleagues

Kandhamal: A woman teacher of Kudutuli Government High School under Nuagaon police limits in Kandhamal district has accused three of her male colleagues, including the headmaster, of harassing and threatening to kill her.

She has lodged a complaint in this regard at Nuagaon police station.

In her complaint, the teacher alleged that headmaster of the school Chandra Sekhar Maharana, assistant teacher Sadashiv Behera and PET Susant Baliarsingh have been harassing her mentally and physically.

They also forced her to give proxy attendance, she alleged.

She had taken up the matter with District Education Officer (DEO) Bikash Pradhan, but in vain, the complaint added.

Police have registered a case on basis of the complaint and started investigation.
