Bhadrak: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC were imposed in Apanda Chhak of Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Sunday following clash between two groups.
The prohibitory orders imposed by the Bhadrak district administration will remain in force till 11 am of Tuesday, sources said.
The prohibitory orders were clamped in the area after a clash broke out between two groups over a boundary dispute between villages in Bhadrak and Keonjhar district.
It has come to the notice based on the report submitted by the IIC, Bonth police station that there is a serious law and order situation occurred owing to the boundary dispute between villages of Kconjhar side and Bhadrak side at Apanda Chhak (Orali Chhak), said the order issued by Bhadrak Sub-Collector Manoj Patra.
Following the group clash, the district administration promulgated a prohibitory order under Section 144 CrPC. over the spot i.e. Apanda Chhak (Orali Chhak), and In and around 200 mtr radious of the area from 11 AM of 16th April 2023 to 11 AM of 181h April 2023.
The Bonth police station IIC has been directed to promulgate the order on the spot and take necessary and immediate steps to disperse the mob who are creating disturbance over the spot and to take action as per law against those persons, sources said.
