Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has sought Rs 7200 crore from the Centre for development of the railway in the state.
Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday, BJD’s Rajya Sabha member Amar Patnaik said the state has sought Rs 3500 crore for the pending projects and Rs 3700 crore for the new projects.
He also said he has written a letter to Railway Minister Piyush Goyal expressing concern over delay in commencement and completion of many pending and new projects though the state has completed all formalities.
