Odisha Sees A Drop In New COVID-19 Infections; Nil Cases From 15 Districts

Bhubaneswar: From 91 on Friday, the daily COVID-19 caseload in Odisha dropped to 54 in the last 24 hours.

The state had seen 81 on Thursday and 97 on Wednesday.

These 54 new infections have been reported from 15 districts. Among them, 32 are from the quarantine centre and 22 local contact cases, the I and PR Department tweeted on Saturday.

Sambalpur reported the highest of 10 cases followed by Balasore (7) and Sundargarh (7).

  14. Sonepur: 1
  15. Sundargarh: 7
  16. State Pool: 2

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has touched 337674. While 334902 have recovered from the disease, the number of active cases stands at 802.
