Bhubaneswar: A day after reporting 14 COVID-19 deaths, Odisha on Monday saw a drop in the fatalities due to the deadly disease. The virus claimed five more lives in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Department source, three deaths have been reported from Sundargarh and two from Khurda.
Details of the deceased are,
1.A 72 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
2.A 73 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
3.A 37 years old female of Sundargarh district.
4.A 52 years old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
5.A 54 years old female of Sundargarh district
With this, the COVID-19 toll in the state has mounted to 2,073.
