Bhubaneswar: In line with the Centre’s new guidelines, the Odisha government will kick start a COVID-19 vaccination in a campaign mode from Monday.
As part of the campaign, the Health Department has set a target of to vaccinating three lakh people every day.
Additional Chief Secretary, Health Pradipta Mohapatra informed this in a letter to District Collectors and Municipal Commisiioners on Sunday.
Mohaptra said the vaccines sent by the Centre and those purchased by the statement government will be administered during the drive.
According to the new guidelines, registration for the vaccination will be done in both online and offline modes.
There will be five sessions in each block and notified area council (NAC), 10 sessions in municipalities and 20 sessions in municipal corporation areas.
