Bhubaneswar: Most parts of Odisha on Saturday reeled under intense cold as the mercury settled at 3 degrees Celsius at Daringbadi in Kandhamal district.
Many other places in the state recorded below 10 degrees Celsius last night. While Phulbani recorded 3.5 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature in Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district stood at 7.5 degrees.
Similarly, the minimum temperature of Bhubaneswar was 10.4 degrees Celsius.
According to Regional Meteorological Centre forecast, similar weather condition is likely to prevail across the state till January 9.
