Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s paralympic shuttler Pramod Bhagat clinched a hat-trick at Spanish Para Badminton International II 2022 in Victoria, Spain.
Bhagat struck gold in men’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles events at the games.
The 33-year-old from Odisha partnered with Manoj Sarkar in men’s doubles and Palak Kohli in mixed doubles.
In singles Bhagat beat Nitesh Kumar to take the gold and in doubles he and Sarkar defeated compatriots Sukant Kadam and Nitesh Kumar to bag the gold again.
In mixed Bhagat and Palak beat Ruthick Ragupathi and Manasi G Joshi to up India’s medal tally in the games.
