Bhubaneswar: Section Officer in the Sonepur Sub-Collector office, Ramesh Prasad Nag, has been arrested by the Vigilance for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Nag’s disproportionate assets were found to be 95% more than his known sources of income.
Three teams of Odisha Vigilance conducted simultaneous raids at three places in Balangir and Sonepur.
Nag was found in possession of one triple-storey and single-storey building at Larkipali in Balangir; four plots including three at Larkipali and a plot at Dhubamunda in Sonepur, a four-wheeler, two two-wheelers and other movable and immovable properties, all worth over Rs 1.3 crore.
