Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the winter session of the Odisha Assembly scheduled to begin from November 20, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro on Thursday said that the duration of the daily business in the House will be of four and half hours due to the COVID-19 situation.
The Speaker, however, added that a decision to conduct the question hour has not been taken yet.
Patro also informed that all MLAs, Assembly staffers and the mediapersons will be advised to undergo the COVID-19 test as a preventive measure.
He said a training workshop on e-Assembly will begin from Friday. All employees of the Assembly will be imparted training in the first phase, he added.
