Odisha Sprinter Dutee Chand Set To Join This Celebrity Dance Battle

Bhubaneswar: Olympian from Odisha Dutee Chand will soon be donning a new avatar. Instead of sprinting on the tracks, she would now shake a leg at the dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’.

The national champion in the women’s 100 metres, who last competed in Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in August 2022, is ready to join the stellar line-up of celebrity contestants from next week with her choreographer Ravina on this platform.

“I have never imagined myself performing different dance forms and competing against such stellar performers. But as a sportsperson, I love taking on new challenges. I am used to performing in front of live viewers, but this is going to be a new experience altogether,” she was quoted as saying by IANS.

Notably, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 premiered on Colors TV on September 3. The dance reality show is being judged by Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Nora Fatehi. Television actors Nia Sharma, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Niti Taylor, Ali Asgar, and Paras Kalnawat are also part of the new season of the show.
