Bhubaneswar: The 68th State Athletics Championship 2021 has been postponed due to the restrictions in place for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Announcing the news of postponement through a press release, Odisha Athletics Association secretary Asirbad Behera stated that the meet will be rescheduled and fresh dates intimated in “due course of time.”
Young athletes like Sabita Toppo, Manisha Merel, Rajendra Sidhu, Prachi Maharana and Omkar Panda will be itching to compete in the state meet after having won medals for Odisha by clinching medals in the recent 36th National Junior Athletics Championships at Guwahati recently.
