Odisha STF Nabs 3 With 161 Kg Ganja In Angul

Angul: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha police has seized more than 161 kg of ganja and arrested three persons in this connection in Angul district.

The three accused persons were identified as Sarmit Urma of Chandrapur village, Rohit Behera of Madhapur village and Sunil Deep of Routpada.

Acting on an information, a team of STF carried out raids at Chandrapur village under the jurisdiction of Athamalik police station of the district and seized the cannabis and some other incriminating materials.

While the seized ganja weighed more than 161 kg, the three accused persons were also arrested. Further search related to the case is underway.

A case has been registered on the report of STF at Athamalik Police Station and further investigation is in progress.
