Bhubaneswar: Hardcore absconding interstate drug trafficker Thyil Shyam Sunder was nabbed following raids by a team of STF of Odisha Crime Branch and Malkangiri Police at Saikrishna Nagar in Hyderabad with the assistance of Amberpet Police.
On October 3, 2021, Chitrakonda Police seized 1051 kg ganja from N Balu, who revealed the involvement of Thyil Shyam Sunder in transportation of the contraband, an official release said.
Soon after his arrest, Sunder was produced before a local court in Hyderabad for transit remand. He will be brought to Malkangir and produced before District & Sessions Judge Court, Malkanagiri, the release added.
