Berhampur: A student was found hanging in a hostel of Berhampur University in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Saturday.
The deceased student was identified as Tarini Biswal, a first year student of the department of Industrial Relations & Personnel Managment.
On being informed, Gopalpur police rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the incident. Police seized the body. However, the reason for his death is not yet ascertained.
Police are looking into various angles and trying to examine the cell phone of the deceased. Police are talking to some of his classmates about the mental state of the deceased.
