Odisha T20 Cricket League To Take Off In Bhubaneswar On Monday

Bhubaneswar: The second edition of the Odisha T20 Cricket League of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will take off in Bhubaneswar from June 12.

The T20 cricket tournament to be played at the Dreams Cricket Ground in the city will continue upto June 28. Total six teams will participate in the tournament which will be conducted in 20-20 format.

The tournament will be played in a double-leg league format, each team playing 10 matches in the league stage followed by the Semi Finals and Finals.

While 2 matches will be played everyday at 9 am and 1 pm, total 33 matches are in the fixture. The teams that will participate in the League include Odisha Lions, Odisha Tigers, Odisha Jaguars, Odisha Pumas, Odisha Panthers and Odisha Cheetahs.

Each Player of the Match will be awarded a prize money of Rs 4,000 and the Player of the Series Rs 20,000. The leading run getter and wicket taker will be given Red and Green caps respectively.

The Lague is organised by the OCA in collaboration with Century Media while the prize money is sponsored by MGM Minerals Ltd. All the matches will be telecast in the Fan Code app.

The first edition of the Odisha T20 Cricket League was played in December 2020.
