Odisha Targets To Complete 1st Dose COVID Vaccination In Next 3 Months

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government plans to complete administration of first dose of COVID vaccine shots in the next three months among the targeted  population.

After revising the daily vaccination target to 4 lakh to expedite the administration of COVID-19 vaccines to all eligible beneficiaries, the state crossed the target in a single-day on September 20 (Monday).

A total of 4,16,454 doses were administered on the day, said the Family Welfare Director Bijay Panigrahi.

The state has so far administered 2.8 crore vaccine shots since January 16 and has a stock of 22 lakh doses, he added.
