Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has issued a notification for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2019, which will be held in the first week of August.
According to the notification, the eligible candidates will have to apply online through the official BSE website www.bseodisha.nic.in till 5 pm between July 15 to July 26 . The payment shall be done online till 4 pm on July 29.
The candidates will have to apply separately for Paper I and Paper II.
The candidates who had applied for OTET in 2018 will have to apply afresh. However, they need not have to deposit the fee as they have deposited it earlier.
To work as a teacher for Classes 1 to 8 in Odisha schools, qualifying OTET is mandatory. The examination comprises two levels: Primary Level and Upper Primary Level. The examination is mandated by certain rules and regulations by central regulatory authorities. Aspiring applicants can go for the registration process after checking out the eligibility criteria.
