Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education (SME) department of Odisha conducted the grievance hearing exercise on Monday and resolved several issues related to teachers and schools.

Thirumala Naik promptly sanctioned Rs 10,44,532 towards reimbursement of the RCM claim in favour of Subarnalata Sahoo, Assistant Teacher at Tigiria in Cuttack district.
The teacher is suffering from chronic kidney disease, the SME department said in a post on X
Official sources said that the department will conduct grievance hearings related to schools, teachers, academic development and other issues every Monday.
The hearings will be conducted by the Commissioner-cum-Secretary at the department’s conference halls. Public grievance hearings will be held every Monday at all directorates to ensure timely and effective redressal.
