Ganjam: Digapahandi tehsildar Sipak Kumar Patra came to the rescue of a tribal woman and got her shifted to a hospital in the tenshil in his vehicle last night.
According to sources, the tehsildar was on the official visit to remote Dikili village when he heard someone crying in a house and immediately offered help.
The woman, identified as Susuma Dalei, was later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur as her condition deteriorated.
