Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a slight drop in daily COVID caseload on Saturday as 124 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 141 new cases on Friday, 155 cases on Thursday, 183 cases on Wednesday, 146 on Tuesday, and 186 on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 75 of the new infections are from quarantine and 49 local contacts. Among them, 17 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 61 new cases. Eighteen districts reported positive cases in single digits while there were none in 11.

With these cases being detected from 1,20,674 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.10%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,53,769, Odisha now has 1,664 active cases.
