Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to bring COVID management under the Mo Sarkar initiative.
This was announced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during a video conference with senior officials here on Tuesday.
Reviewing the COVID situation in the state, the Chief Minister directed the officials to remain in constant touch with the patients and corona warriors and asked the district COVID observers and senior officials to get feedback from them on a daily basis.
He also directed the officials of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to collect feedback from the districts so that the government will be able to take necessary steps without further delay.
To contain the spread of the virus, the Chief Minister directed the officials to conduct antigen (serology) tests in all government health facilities and hotspot districts for early detection of the patients. He also asked them to impart training to corona warriors on safety measure against the virus.
Besides, the Chief Minister also directed the district administration to take stern action against those not using the mask and adhering to the social distancing norms.
