New Delhi: The Odisha JEE cell will conduct a special entrance examination for students who missed appearing for the JEE main.
This special entrance examination is being conducted for students who wish to take admission in BTech courses.
The online application process for OJEE special exam started on May 12 and will come to a close on May 31.
Interested candidates can apply for the exam by logging at ojee.nic.in. Candidates can pay the application fee till June 5.
After clearing this special entrance exam, candidates can take admission in government or private colleges across the state.
An official statement regarding the special entrance exam stated, “As it is not feasible to conduct the second or special OJEE in this session because of time constraint, it has been decided to conduct, as an integral part of OJEE – 2020, a Special Entrance Examination for admission into first year BTech.”
“Candidates who have already appeared or are going to appear in JEE Main 2020 for BTech admission, are not required to appear for the Special OJEE 2020 for BTech,” it added.
The second or special OJEE counselling session will not be held this year. After the first round of counselling, the vacant seats will be filled through OJEE.
The exam dates and counselling details will be announced after the lockdown.
