Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has declared dates for the summative assessment of Class IX students on Thursday.
The first summative assessment will begin from November 22, the BSE informed media persons.
The 40 marks exams will be held in two sittings. The first sitting will be from 9 am to 10 am and the second from 11 am to 12 noon.
As per the schedule, the examination of Second Language (English) will be conducted in first sitting on the first day while students will give Social Science exam in second sitting on the same day.
While students will write the exams in their own schools, evaluation of answer-sheets will be held at other schools, BSE sources added.
All high secondary schools in Odisha reopened for Class XII students on Thursday. Classes will be conducted between 10 am and 1.30 pm. Hostels for these students has also been reopened.
