Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual Plus II Science and Commerce examinations will be announced on July 31.
This was revealed at a high-level meeting of the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in presence of the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday.
According to CHSE, the results of the Science and Commerce will be declared in the evening.
The results of the Arts and Vocational Education will be announced after July 31 for which the state government will file a special leave petition in the Supreme Court.
It may be mentioned that the Supreme Court had told the states to announce the annual Plus II examination results by July 31.
Although the CHSE will announce the Science and Commerce results on the last day of the timeline directed by the apex court, it will be able to announce the results by the first week of August as there is a delay in the evaluation of the papers through alternative assessment methods.
