Bhubaneswar: Some places in Odisha are likely to experience light rain from Tuesday, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather agency has forecast light to moderate rain\thundershower at one or two places in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, and Jajpur till 8.30 am on Wednesday.
Dense fog may also occur at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi. Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at a few places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and at one or two places in remaining districts of the state during this period.
On January 17, light to moderate rain\thundershower may occur at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, and Kendrapada. Shallow to moderate fog may also occur at one or two places across the state.
Light to moderate rain\thundershower is also likely at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi during the subsequent 24 hours. Shallow to moderate fog may occur at one or two places in the state as well.
While dry weather conditions will prevail thereafter with no large change in night temperature at many places in districts of Odisha.
