Bhubaneswar: The second consignment of Covaxin vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) will reach Odisha in a week, informed Director, Health and Family Welfare Bijay Panigrahi here on Friday.
Addressing media Panigrahi said the state will receive 1,49,760 doses. The Covaxin will be exclusively given in Bhubaneswar.
Odisha had received 20,000 doses of Covaxin in the first batch which arrived here on Janaury 13.
Panigrahi informed this while speaking to the media about the three-day a week COVID immunisation programme in CHCs and PHCs.
