Bhubaneswar: Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahu on Thursday asked university students to remain prepared for their pending examinations, which will be held any time after June 17.
The minister’s statement came a day after the University Grants Commission (UGC) issued a new academic calendar and directed state governments to conduct the remaining terminal and intermediate examinations between July and August.
Sahu asked the students to utilise the lockdown period to their advantage and prepare for the examinations.
Referring to the UGC guidelines, he said that the Higher Education Department will review them in detail and take a decision accordingly.
