Giving this information, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said that this vacation education programme will be unique and first of its kind in the state. The programme will immensely benefit the students in their career.

A special syllabus has been prepared for this learning programme, which is scheduled to commence from may 4. The students of a particular class will be split into different groups. The activities of every group will be monitored by a teacher.

The teacher concerned will discuss with the students and their parents over phone to keep track of the progress made in studies. They will find out whether the students are studying the lessons as per the vacation syllabus specially prepared for the purpose.

The aim is to keep the students engaged with their studies even during vacation and stop them from wasting their time. The summer vacation will be properly utilised by the students which will benefit them in the long run, sources said.
