Bhubaneswar: Amid the uncertainty over availability of vaccines for 18-44 age group, here’s a good news for Odisha.
The state is set to receive 26,000 doses of Covaxin by June 7 and 2,27,750 doses of Covishield by June 9 for this age group.
The state currently has a stock of 8,980 doses of Covaxin and 18,690 doses of Covishield for them.
However, shortage of vaccine is likely to hamper the drive from June 2 till the state receives the expected doses.

Health Department sources said the stock for the below 45-year age group in the Odisha capital will be exhausted by Tuesday.
Bhubaneswar denizens are being administered Covaxin.
However, Additional Public District Health Officer Antaryami Mishra said limited slots might be opened for tomorrow depending on availability of vaccines and then the city has to wait for delivery of vaccines.
